US Loves Ukraine was founded by DAC Audit Services (www.dacaudit.com) which has provided ISO certification to US companies for 25 years. Their CEO Mike Mosharo is a Ukrainian American 2nd generation.
Mike contacted the Ukrainian military and was introduced to a number of local volunteers and aid groups (www.loveukraine.org & www.savekyiv.com) who have been working together to distribute vital medical supplies to the most dangerous areas of Ukraine.
There is currently a huge demand for bandages, medkits, tourniquets, blood clotting agents and antibiotics, and other vital medical equipment.
Larger charities have received donations in the hundreds of millions, but it’s become evidently clear that these funds are not able to get to the most dangerous areas of the country, such as Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mariupol and more.
This is where organizations such as www.loveukraine.org & www.savekyiv.com have been focusing all their efforts. However, they are not registered US charities… but now www.uslovesukraine.org officially is.
Being able to donate through an organization with 501c3 tax exempt status is extremely important. But to be able to donate with tax exempt status while also knowing that the funds are going to make a real difference, means you will have the greatest possible positive impact to the people in the most danger.
And so as of now, US Loves Ukraine is officially active and is ready to receive donations for critical medical and survival supplies.
We are urgently requesting both corporate and individual donations for this historic humanitarian effort for the Ukrainian people, their culture, and most importantly, their democratically free country.
Donations will be used to directly support front line Ukrainian soldiers, first responders, and civilians in the most heavily hit areas of the country such as Kyiv, Kharkiv and Mariupol.
Medical and survival relief is desperately needed there, because the larger charities cannot reach these dangerous areas. But we can.
Imagine for a moment that:
- You just lost your dearest loved one to a Russian bombing
- Your child needs surgery to amputate a limb or they will die
- You have been shot, you are in extreme pain, and your wound is infected but you have no access to antibiotics
The horrors are never-ending. The Ukrainian people are being exterminated, while the world passively discusses the pros and cons of inaction. They need help from everyone.
They needed it yesterday. They need it today. They will need it tomorrow.
